A single sherd of black-glazed (Campania A) pottery, dated to 200-50 BCE, was found at a level below the indicated floor level, but the sherd could not be associated with a construction phase. In the same context a clibanus of late Republican date was found — however, none of the sherds were useful for dating the floor since we cannot exclude a modern displacement of the sherds.
