Door opening
The door opening is located in the west wall between 27 and Via del Vesuvio.

Description:
Large limestone blocks frame the door opening. There are remains of wall-plaster on both doorframes. On the north doorframe, there is white plaster in the part up to the height of 1.40m. Above, there is yellowish plaster up to the height of 1.90 m and further up, there are patches of plaster with modern support.

Threshold
The threshold consists of three lava stone blocks. The threshold has a slit in the middle for the sliding door, running in its entire length. The south block has a 74 x 24cm large area, where the block has been cut to a lower level; inside this lower cutting, there is also a square pivot hole for the setting of the door and a round hole cut out beside it.

Pivot hole 9x9 cm, diam. of round hole 6 cm.
