Doorway from the atrium to room c:

There is still a tuff threshold preserved on the eastern side of the doorway to room c, size 0.27 x 0.17 m, with two circular and two rectangular cavities (see sketch), placed against the eastern part of the wall. The cavities in the threshold have remains of iron.

Between the threshold and the western part of the wall there is lavapesta floor, built against a red cocciopesto floor inside room c.
The threshold goes under the limestone corner of the wall, the limestone corner is cut up to the height of 36 cm above the threshold corner.
There is one added piece of pottery, at the height of 1.11 m, in the eastern flank of the doorway in the mortar. There is also one iron nail or clamp at the height of 1.72 m from the threshold, 16.5 cm from the southern edge of the eastern flank.
