The floor is made of cocciopesto. Remains of a low wall, built with pieces of tile and stone set in a clay mix, can still be discerned along the walls. When Mau documented the room, the inner wall of the wall still stood 0.24 m high.
The remains seem to be a later installation in the room, presumably running around the walls as a low bench.
