South Wall

The S wall is made in op. incertum and consists mostly of limestone, some cruma, yellow tuff and brick. The uppermost part is reconstructed with mostly cruma and some limestone.

Wall-plaster:
Remains of wall plaster are preserved to above the height of 4.0m. The lowermost part of the dado is destroyed. The dado is red and 0.75m high.
The main zone is white and has a red band at the height of 1.02m. In the corner there are vertical red stripes and possibly also red stripes in the centre of the wall. There is a decorative band at the height of 2.75m.
The upper zone is visible from the height of 3m. The main colour is yellow and it shows an architectural view. According to Mau the ala had 3rd style painting some of them covered by later paintings.

State of preservation:
The upper part of the wall is missing and the uppermost part is reconstructed. There is a repair in the centre of the wall at 3.0m height. It may be connected to the holes made in the walls by treasure hunters as reported in the early reports.
