A 0.21 m high, 0.14 m wide step is placed in this door opening, mainly covered by cocciopesto.
Threshold between room 19 and room 20
A 0.53 m wide and 0.05 m high ridge with rounded edges is placed in the door opening, covered by coccio-pesto. At the east side a lead pipe runs through it on floor level, probably a drain from one of the rooms to the other.
